Licensed Massage Therapist
A graduate of the Central Pennsylvania School of Massage located in State College, PA (the home of Penn State University), Bobbi Jo Deardorff has been a massage therapist for 16 years. Penn State’s hot spot of athletic programs allowed her to work with gifted sports team professionals, focusing mainly on medical massage, sports massage, and various styles of energy work. She then spent five years on Kauai, HI, where she honed her massage skills in the luxury resort spa industry. There she learned the Hawaiian art of Lomi Lomi, a profoundly relaxing massage for those wanting light or deep pressure.
Back home in PA she added Deep Feet Ashiatsu to her list of certifications. Building a thriving practice, she went on to win “Best Massage Therapist” in State College Magazine 2017, 2018, and 2019. Bobbi Jo relocated to the Pacific Northwest in July of 2020 and has been with us for the last 2 1/2 years building another thriving clientele base.
Bobbi is committed to helping every person she lays hands on. Her practice is built on understanding the mind/body connection to release energy blocks, emotional holding patterns, and the repetitive strain on the body based on lifestyle. Using the alchemy of incorporating bodywork and energy therapy concepts in a holistic approach, Bobbi Jo will design a treatment plan based on your individual needs. Whether you require a deeper more structural massage or simply need to rest your mind in a safe space, her compassionate nature will leave you feeling renewed.
In addition to massage Bobbi has been making and selling a variety hand crafted all natural body products for several years which are available for purchase at the studio under the brand name “Root to Crown”. We use her signature menthol salve “Muscle Magic” as an upgrade option for your massage session.
